Tek Renk Üniversal Rezin Kompozitlerin Özellikleri

Günümüzde hem hekim hem de hastalarýn doðal diþ benzeri görünüme sahip estetik restorasyonlara yönelik talebinin artmasý, estetik restoratif materyallerin geliþtirilmesi üzerine çalýþmalarýn yoðunlaþmasýna neden olmuþtur. Son yýllarda oldukça popüler olan tek renk üniversal rezin kompozitler bu amaçla geliþtirilmiþ materyallerden biridir. Bu materyallerin kullanýma sunulmasý ile birlikte tabakalama içeren mine ve dentin kompozitlerinin ayrý ayrý kullanýldýðý yönteme göre basitleþtirilmiþtir, tabakalama sýrasýnda gereken teknik hassasiyet azaltýlmýþtýr ve sonuç olarak koltukta geçen süre kýsaltýlmýþtýr. Böylece birden fazla kullanýlan rezin kompozitler tek bir rezin kompozit rengine indirilerek malzeme israfý da önlenmiþ olur. Bu rezin kompozitlerin en önemli özelliði tek bir rezin kompozit kullanarak komþu diþ yapýsýnýn rengi ile iyi bir uyum saðlayarak doðal görünüm elde etmektir. Günümüzde sýklýkla kullanýlan tek renk rezin kompozitlerin hekimler için ne gibi özelliklere sahip olduklarýný bilmek yapýlacak olan tedavinin konforunu arttýracaktýr. Bu derlemenin amacý, diðer rezin kompozitler üzerinde potansiyel olarak olumlu bir etkiye sahip olabilecek optik ve mekanik özellikler dahil olmak üzere yenilikçi ve devrim niteliðindeki tek renk üniversal rezin kompozitlerin geliþimi ve özelliklerini dental literatürdeki çalýþmalara dayanarak araþtýrmaktýr.

Properties of Single-Shade Universal Resin Composites

Today, the increasing demand from both dentists and patients for aesthetic restorations with a natural tooth-like appearance has led to a surge in research focused on the development of aesthetic restorative materials. Single-shade universal resin composites, which have become highly popular in recent years, are among the materials developed for this purpose. The introduction of these materials has simplified the layering technique that traditionally involved the separate use of enamel and dentin composites, reduced the technical sensitivity required during the layering process, and, as a result, shortened chair time. By consolidating multiple resin composites into a single-shade resin composite, material waste has also been minimized.The most significant feature of these resin composites is their ability to achieve a natural appearance by ensuring good color harmony with the adjacent tooth structure using a single resin composite. Understanding the properties of single-shade resin composites, which are frequently used today, can enhance the comfort of treatment for dentist. The aim of this review is to investigate the development and properties of innovative and revolutionary single-shade universal resin composites, including their optical and mechanical characteristics, which may potentially have a positive impact on other resin composites, based on studies in the dental literature.
